The ceremony of the MCK contribution for the people of Kaliwungu
MCK Ceremony -- Latter-Day Saints Charity Contribution to the People of Kaliwungu in Semarang

The Latter-Day Saints Charity has finally completed the building of 16 units of clean water installation and sanitary system in various parts of Garat Lor village, Kaliwungu sub-district in June 2009. This is the last project of the ongoing program of clean water installation and sanitary systems which commenced in March 2008.

Family Enrichment Seminar in Surabaya
Church Introduces Family Enrichment Program to East Java Christian Religion Teachers

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through Public Affairs cooperated with the East Java Christian Community Council to introduce the Family Enrichment Program (FEP). An event, the East Java Christian Religion Teachers Development, was held at the East Surabaya Chapel on Wednesday, January 14, 2009.

Handing-over ceremony of the Kaliwungu clean water project

After working for 5 months on a clean water system for some 18,500 residents, LDS Charities (LDSC) handed over this humanitarian project to the local Kaliwungu Government in a formal Dedication Ceremony. This water project should alleviate that problem and provide clean accessible water all year long.

Prospective English Teachers Seminar
Preparing Competent English Teachers in the Church Surroundings

Seventeen prospective English teachers, most of them were returned missionaries from the 5 Branches in the Surakarta District, received a day training on the English Language Seminar provided by Sister Patti Hatford and Earl Wyman, both visiting professors from BYU Hawaii.

Strong families is the key answer to fix the social conditions in Indonesia. Weekly Family Home Evening program is a tool that can be used by anyone of diverse cultures to strengthen their families. Nowadays, 'Strong Family, Strong Nation' is not a slogan anymore!
